Hello and welcome please feel free to look around the website and see what has been achieved over the years.
The charity event held at Southglade Leisure Centre was opened by the Lord Mayor of Nottingham and was well attended by members of the public and local business’s, and between everyone there, an amazing £1081.43p for the Rainbows Hospice, a big thank you to everyone who gave up there time to assist in achieving this total.
Now this year is going to be slightly different as we are going to have several smaller events throughout the year and from now on for the foreseeable future all the fund raising efforts are going to be concentrated on one organisation which is,
The Nottingham City Hospitals Children’s Charity
again as always every penny that is raised goes the charity concerned.
The date for this years event is 3rd October 2010 at the
Healthy Living Centre, Lawton Drive,Bulwell.
This year we are going to try something different and have fun at the same time, this is going to be done by sponsorship of one of the clubs senior (old) and one of the junior (young ) members each doing a single challenge.
The senior member is going to attempt to do a Fire walk ( he must be crazy but as members of the club know him he is) The firewalk is taking place at
Bestwood Lodge Country Park, Bestwood Lodge Drive, Bestwood, NG5 8NE.
on the 4th November bring your family and friends to make this a memorable event.
The junior member has to have some real fun by trying to burst 50 balloons in one minute just click on the link to make your donation.
