The Lord mayor of Nottingham with the MACCC volunteers and members of The 7 Star Praying Mantis club and The Derby Wushu club.
The Lord Mayor was led into the venue by the Chinese Lion Dance Troupe
The first event of the day was the Childrens Fancy Dress Competition.

The second part of the day was the childrens Kung Fu Competition where they competeted against others of the same amount of years training.
This was followed by a Tai Chi demonstration of The Fan
For those that were feeling more energetic the Tai Chi was followed by a Cardio Kickboxing session which was well attended by all age groups
The Third part of the competition was for the adults and this again was based on the number of years training. The winners of the childrens catogories and the adults catogories then went on to compete in the Grand Final for their respective groups.
